Continuing Education
All of the educational tools you need to advance your career - or start a new one - are located here. The region is home to more than a dozen graduate schools, three professional schools (medical, dental and law) and eight institutions that offer continuing education programs leading to certificates or licensures.
The University of Wisconsin-Extension offers the most comprehensive continuing education program in the state, reaching 200,000 people per year through online programs and at all 26 University of Wisconsin campuses.
Wisconsin's technical college program is the oldest in the nation, serving more than 400,000 students per year. The Milwaukee Region is served by four technical colleges – Gateway Technical College, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Moraine Park Technical College and Waukesha County Technical College.
